Bruce Linton started the Fathers’ Forum Programs in 1989 to offer expectant and new dads groups and workshops to discuss the challenges and changes they were experiencing as fathers. He did ground breaking research in men’s development as fathers for which he received his Ph.D. He was one of the first psychologist to write about the developmental stages of fatherhood.
Bruce was inspired by hearing the Beatle John Lennon discuss his relationship to his son Sean and his experience of becoming a father. Bruce’s original book “Finding Time for Fatherhood, the important consideration men face when they become parents,” has been a cornerstone of the modern “Fatherhood Movement.”
Bruce has written 4 books on fatherhood. Here on his blog he shares his experiences, insights and research about how men change when they become fathers.
